Come raggiungere Bolsena
Il
Lago di Bolsena si trova nel cuore dell'Italia Centrale, sul versante
Tirrenico, nell'estrema punta settentrionale del Lazio ,fra Umbria e
Toscana. Il territorio comunale di Bolsena infatti confina con quello
regionale umbro.
Bolsena
è situata sulla sponda nord-est del Lago, in un punto
particolarmente privilegiato del litorale lacustre.
Si può raggiungere Bolsena attraverso la S.S. Cassia che a Sud proviene da Roma, 113 km, e a Nord da Siena, 112 km; con l'Autostrada del Sole (A1), uscita Orvieto, proseguendo verso Bolsena sulla provinciale "bolsenese". Con la superstrada Roma-Orte-Viterbo, uscita Viterbo e ancora sulla via Cassia per circa 30 km. Le stazioni ferroviarie più vicine a Bolsena sono quella di Orvieto e quella di Viterbo.
How to reach Bolsena
Lake Bolsena is situated in the northern side of Lazio region,
between Tuscany and Umbria, with which it borders, and not so far from
the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The town of Bolsena stands in a
privileged and favourable position to the north eastern shoreline of
the Lake.
How to arrive: by following the SS. Cassia Road from Rome and from
Siena; by the Motorway-A1, Orvieto exit, and then following the
provincial route towards Bolsena; by the Clearway Rome-Orte-Viterbo,
Viterbo exit, and then following the SS. Cassia Road. The nearest
Railway Stations are in Orvieto and Viterbo.

Giuliana è Guida Turistica autorizzata in italiano ed inglese e si occupa specificamente del territorio del Lago di Bolsena, perché, essendo nata in questa terra, ne conosce profondamente ogni particolare, ogni sfumatura e i mille motivi che fanno di questa zona un luogo ricchissimo di storia, cultura, arte, tradizioni, gastronomia, natura e tipicità senza eguali.
Brevissime note curricolari - Dopo gli studi linguistici, ha diretto e gestito l'Ufficio Informazioni Turistiche del Comune di Bolsena dalla sua creazione fino ai primi anni novanta; ha lavorato per diverse agenzie turistiche e pubblicitarie; ha tradotto articoli e volumi in lingua inglese tra i quali "The Polyglot Museum" un compendio del libro "Il Museo Territoriale del Lago di Bolsena"; per un lungo periodo, ha svolto il ruolo di guida privata sull'Isola Bisentina, su incarico personale della proprietaria, Principessa del Drago. Ora opera come Guida Turistica autorizzata in italiano ed inglese, in tutto il territorio del bacino lacuale e nei principali centri della zona.
Giuliana is an Italian-English speaking guide who is particularly interested in the territory of Lake Bolsena. Born in Bolsena, she profoundly knows all the lights and shades of this land and the thousands reasons of its richness such as history, art, culture, monuments, tradition, gastronomy, nature and environment.
Short Curriculum: after her studies on languages, she managed the Tourist Office of Bolsena since its foundation until the early years of 1990s; she worked for some travel agencies and advertising companies. She translated several articles in English including “The polyglot Museum”, a book presented by the Territorial Museum of Lake Bolsena; while in the past few years, she was a private guide on Island Bisentina, on personal behalf of Princess del Drago. At present she works as Italian-English speaking guide, covering by preference the whole District of Lake Bolsena and the main centres of the area.
